Author Guidelines
A Word template correctly formatted for the DC-2008 Conference Proceedings is available. Full papers and short project reports are accepted for the Proceedings:
- Full Papers. Research and practice papers that advance our knowledge of metadata in operation. Papers should be no more than 10 pages in length and should address challenging areas of metadata theory or application.
- Project Reports. Project reports are well written reports that are no more than 5 pages in length and have the potential to inform metadata practice including both useful "best practices" and solutions to intractable and common metadata problems.
- Posters. Posters are for the presentation of projects or research under development or late-breaking results. Accepted posters will be displayed at the conference and may include additional materials, space permitting. Abstracts of posters will appear in the conference proceedings.
DCMI adheres to a blind peer review process in which reviewer identities are unknown to authors. It does not use a double-blind review process; therefore, author identities are known to reviewers. In preparing your paper for submission, include author names and affiliations as directed in the Word template.
